Its here, its fresh, and coming at you like a Lamborghini Diablo on a drug run!  Tricking Quake Live.  A video me and a good buddy Cliche put together over the last few weeks.  The Promo is my first promo since 2002 and the release of OPC promo4.  Please feel free to click the Promos button above and have a look for yourself.  Ive made sure that everyone has it and its easy to download and view.  So enjoy.  Hopefully It will get as much buss as I was expecting it to get.

TQL – Tricking Quake Live a Quake Live tricking promo movie by Cliche staring me is scheduled for release on Aug 18.  A trailer to the movie should be released in the next week orso.  Ive put alot of time and energy into this movie and so has Cliche so we are hopeful to get plenty of feedback.

after some thought i decided to bench the wysiwyg hud editor for quakelive for the moment until i can get some more infomormation on the hud itself. I just dont have enough time to do everything I want to do and learn a new language/script at the moment.

On the side note, I decided to also convert q3schools in to a public blog of my alter ego, Newbi. In the next few days I will be adding lots of demos, pictures, videos and explanations for some of quakes most sought after questions. For example, circle jumping 101, as well as aim forecasting.

One other thing to look forward to is the release of my first trick promo video in over 7 years. The rating and name are still being discussed with the movies director “Cliche” but something should be public soon, along with a teaser trailer.

More and more progress is being made.

So far the addition of the ventrilo server widget the registration of the q3schools domain.

Hopefully we can recruit more motivated individuals to handle some of the other potential sections of the site such as a strat section complete with video clips and articles on effective / not so effective strategies.

It would also be nice to add in a custom, all in one config editor for the quake based games.

Some extra graphical work would be nice as well.  The site template is functional but could use an artists touch IMO.

WYSIWYGHUDE base codeware started today.

A small list of things todo.

Clean up this wordpress template and remove all un-needed items.
Build a ventrilo status plugin for wordpress.
Start cross browser tests for the editor.
Add other contributors to the admin list so they too can work on this template.
Collect and edit needed images used inside the HUD.
Collect Hi-res bgs for the random bg tool.
Build boundedbox script
convert original g-doc to a WP progress log and notes
