Dim Break Command in AutoCAD

The dim break command in AutoCAD is used to add a break symbol in the middle of a dimension, typically to avoid dimensioning over an object or line. To use the dim break command:

  4. Adjust the break properties, such as the size of the break symbol, if needed.

The dim break command helps improve the clarity of dimensioning, especially in cases where you want to avoid clutter or intersecting lines in technical drawings.
