Multiline Text Command in AutoCAD

The multiline text command in AutoCAD is used to create a block of text that can span multiple lines. This command is useful for adding paragraphs, descriptions, or any large amount of text that requires formatting, such as alignment, line spacing, and font adjustments.

To use the multiline text command:

  1. Type MTEXT or T in the command line.
  2. Click and drag to define a text box, or specify the width by entering a value.
  3. Type the desired text content in the text editor.
  4. Use the formatting tools within the text editor to adjust the font, size, alignment, and other settings.
  5. Press Enter to place the multiline text in the drawing.

The multiline text command allows for more flexible and formatted text entry compared to single-line text, making it ideal for adding detailed annotations or descriptions in your drawing.
