QLeader Command in AutoCAD

The qleader command in AutoCAD is used to create quick leader lines with annotations. A leader line is a line that connects a point in a drawing to a text note or other annotation. The qleader command allows you to efficiently add a leader with text to a point in the drawing, which is often used for calling out objects, adding comments, or annotating specific details in a drawing.

To use the qleader command:

  1. Type QLEADER in the command line or select the "Quick Leader" tool from the annotation toolbar.
  2. Click on the point where the leader line should start.
  3. Drag the leader line to the location where you want the text to be placed.
  4. Enter the text for the leader line and press Enter.

The qleader command helps streamline the process of adding leaders with text, making it quicker and easier to annotate your drawings.
