The draw order command in AutoCAD is used to control the layering of objects in a drawing. It allows you to specify which objects appear in front of or behind other objects. This command is useful when you need to arrange objects visually, such as ensuring that a certain object appears in front of others for clarity.
To use the draw order command:
Type DRAWORDER in the command line.
Select the object(s) whose draw order you want to change.
Choose one of the following options:
Bring to Front: Moves the selected objects to the top layer, making them appear in front of all other objects.
Send to Back: Moves the selected objects to the bottom layer, placing them behind all other objects.
Bring Above Objects: Moves the selected objects above others but not necessarily to the front.
Send Below Objects: Moves the selected objects below others but not necessarily to the back.
Press Enter to apply the changes.
The draw order command helps to improve the visual hierarchy in your drawings, making them easier to interpret and edit.
